    I just modded the standard world clock widget, made it a lot smaller, removed the js code for the second hand (save a bIt of resources), moved the city names below the clock so it looks more like icons now
    But I guess most of you guys never use them as you mostly stay in the same time zone, but this is great for me.

    Here's a before & after (in low quality)

    Thanks,

    Now I just got to track down some Arctic MX-4 heat compound paste, my MacbookPro runs extremely hot when doing intensive tasks, it gets so hot the cpu throttles down, so then it becomes slow too.
    I regularly clean out my fans, I know it's not dust.

    Mac make incredible machines but they have a very bad habit of applying far too much paste on the heat sinks, I have re-done a few for friends and temp drops by 10 - 15C, now I got to find some paste here in Brazil & look after my own machine.

    It's not your standard 17" MacBookPro, I upgraded the cpu, memory, replaced the HDD with a 7,200rpm one, removed the optical drive and fitted a second 750GB 7,200rpm HDD in it's place for a backup drive.

    okey, can you post a screenshot? im not sure what you mean.. if the background of the gif is not transparent.. you will still see the image no matter what, even you put the opacity down

    the code is not supose to be in css, you need to put in rain.js

    I figured it out

    in rain.css

    #pane{
    position: absolute;
    background-size: 320px 480px;
    top: 0px;
    left: 0px;
    height: 480px;
    width: 320px;
    opacity: 0.5;
    }

    in rain.js

    function createACloud() {
    var image = document.createElement("img");
    image.id = "pane";
    image.src = "Images/Weather/rain/rain.gif";
    return image;
    }

    ATM Just testing some Clear icons on the Desktop with the animation, look pretty cool, Clock secondHand webkit transition added by Durben, now it work smooth, instead of clicking per second , thanks bud, and my cpu running pretty cool

    Hi Ian, something weird happened with the DemoTest Mod, not a big deal but just let you know, even at "false" the weather was set at "rain" and i change to "clear" the animation was stocked at "rain" was the first time that i see this issue, maybe LiveWallpaper going tired those days lmaoo

    I figured it out

    in rain.css

    #pane{
    position: absolute;
    background-size: 320px 480px;
    top: 0px;
    left: 0px;
    height: 480px;
    width: 320px;
    opacity: 0.5;
    }

    in rain.js

    function createACloud() {
    var image = document.createElement("img");
    image.id = "pane";
    image.src = "Images/Weather/rain/rain.gif";
    return image;
    }
    glade that you figure it out

    The Mac widget is looking fantastic, buds!.....Although I would not subject my iMac to running these animations, I admire the creativity and the work that went into this...and the screenshots that you guys are posting are awesome.(Bacardi)!.....

    Ah, so you're an internal MacBookPro redesigner too.. I've done your exact upgrade there to mine.. Except the paste thing. In the recording world we need to cut to a separate audio drive than our system drive. Cutting audio to the system drive "will" work, but is not recommended by ProTools. So I actually have an SSD 128GB drive as my second drive in place of the optical drive. It's killer fast for audio and generates no additional heat. I cut 32 tracks of live audio thru an MAudio ProFire LightBridge - all night. Never a hiccup. Powerful laptop..

    I use a small program called "Fan Control to control the speed of the fans.
    Me too. Great little utility. But one little disclaimer, remember your fan is in there to save your CPU from getting destroyed. So don't turn your fan down too low. I speak from experience...
