Xen allows you to have pages of content directly on your lockscreen, along with providing improvements to notifications, media artwork and more.

Supports iOS 9 and higher, and all device types.

    CONTENT PAGES PROVIDED

☀️ Weather (Weather content page - Imgur)
Calendar (Calendar content page - Imgur)
Launchpad (Launchpad content page - Imgur)
NC Widgets (NC Widgets content page - Imgur)
Toggles (Toggles content page - Imgur)

More are planned to be added over time.

These pages can be arranged in any order, and can be added or removed from the lockscreen with ease.

    NOTIFICATIONS

Xen allows you to group notifications together per app, along with applying a custom styling similar to iOS 10.

    Grouping: http://imgur.com/WghIytZ
    Styling: http://imgur.com/pnOT1KD

    UNLOCK DIRECTION

The direction to swipe to unlock can modified with three different settings:

    PEEK

A combination of iOS 10's Raise to Wake, and Nokia's Glance. Pull your phone out of your pocket, and the display will light up with quick information. Tap the screen, or press the Home button, to access the lockscreen.

    MEDIA ARTWORK

It also allows for setting different styles of media artwork, such as fullscreen imagery. (http://imgur.com/d8jZm17)

    MORNING SUMMARY

At the time you wake up, useful information will be displayed about the day ahead.

    THEMING

Xen has in-built support for applying themes to the lockscreen. Any theme built for Xen or Convergance from Cydia can be used.

To use old Convergance themes, simply place them in /Library/Application Support/Convergance/Themes, and Xen will pick them up as a legacy theme in settings. You can also install any Convergance theme from Cydia, which will alos work.

For new themes, I'd recommend utilising the Ivory theme as a base, as that has all the possible images that can be themed. Make sure to check out the Info.plist file, as that contains variables you can set to adjust the styling of the toggles UI:

    • togglesDisabledColor - the colour of the topmost toggles when disabled
    • togglesEnabledColor - the enabled colour of the topmost toggles
    • togglesSquaredDisabledColor - disabled colour for bottom toggles and Airdrop/Airplay tab
    • togglesSquaredEnabledColor - enabled colour for bottom toggles and Airdrop/Airplay tab
    • togglesTintWithWallpaper - specifies if the images on toggles used be used as a mask, or show the full colouration of the image used.

You can also theme the toggle glyphs themselves, in the folder Toggles/Glyphs in your theme. The files in this folder have the naming scheme:

    <name>-<enabled|disabled>.png
    <name>-<enabled|disabled>@2x.png
    <name>-<enabled|disabled>@3x.png

The names available can be found in a README.txt at /Library/Application Support/Xen/Themes/Ivory/Toggles/Glyphs. The toggles ideally should be around the same size as the default, which is 47 x 47 px for @1x.

The previews in Launchpad can also be themed as of Xen 0.3.1 in the folder Launchpad/Previews in your theme. Each preview image is always portrait, and to account for different display sizes, uses the following format for image names:

    <bundle_identifier>-<screentype>.png
    <bundle_identifier>-<screentype>@2x.png
    <bundle_identifier>-<screentype>@3x.png

where screentype will be one of the following:
    480 (iPhone 4S) (will have only a @2x variant)
    568 (iPhone 5, 5S, 5C, and SE, plus the iTouch 5) (only needs a @2x variant)
    667 (iPhone 6, 6S, 6+ and 6S+) (needs a @2x and @3x)
ipad (all types of iPad) (needs a non @, and a @2x)

Size wise, use the screen size of the device. Eg:

    iPhone 4S == 640 960 px.

    TWEAK COMPATIBILITY

I've tried to ensure compatibility with pretty much every lockscreen tweak I can. To that end, most should work just fine. I've added explicit support for:
    • Priority Hub
    • CustomCover
    • LockGlyph
    • JellyLock Unified

Please let me know of incompatiblities!

    But, alas, there are gremlins!

    Right now;
    • Cream (version 1.0.4 or lower) (fixed in Xen 0.3.1)
    • Cleo (version 1.2.4 or lower) (fixed in Xen 0.3.1)
    • LockPages (and therefore Forecast) (fixed in Xen 0.3.1)

cause issues, well, more I cause issues with them. Will get them fixed ASAP, for now they'll be removed if you install Xen.

    HOW TO ACCESS

I've chosen to run this public beta as a paid pre-release. As a result, I've reduced the price of the tweak for the beta period, and am offering a 50% discount for the users of my last tweak, Convergance.

Therefore, it's $4.00 for pre-release, $2.00 for prior owning of Convergance.

To purchase, please use my beta portal, found here: cydia://url/https://cydia.saurik.com...tic.betavendor

If you can't purchase, please send me an email from the linked beta portal app (About section) and I'll work out something with you.

    Enjoy!

It's a bug that seems to be have missed the alpha testing, looking into it today after replying to everyone.

SO GLAD TO HAVE THIS in full beta now!!!

Yeah.. Not sure how we missed this bug.. Though I just restored my phone today because it was taking LS 5-10 seconds to open. But this was happening even without Xen running.. So I think I needed to restore anyway.. But I'll test some more..

So nice to have it (convergance) back with so much more. But unfortunately it crashes with Calendar for Lockscreen installed (with compatibility mode enabled). Thank you for that Masterpiece-Tweak.

Maybe if the theming was active prior to just a short time before release?

Great job Matt! This is an amazing successor to Convergance.

Any chance of a crash report please?

Huh, now that IS a thought. Would figure, since people have seen improvements with the toggles page removed, and that was needing a "fix" very close to release.

Nice work, how work the contents page provider please? For me weather, calendar and nc widgets not displayed,

You can go into Settings > Xen > Content Pages, and hit the Edit button. From there, just drop and drop to arrange pages.

You're a pro. It feels Apple-like. Really does.

Weird one. Not came across that.

I need to say the tweak runs petty smooth on my end. I love the animations again.
The theme in my posts is 3 4 All, by Sk37cH.

The numerous versions released, and infinite versatility, beats IconOmatic mods. By quality.
