I have been wanting to try my hand at making stuff for the iPhone. But I have a few questions.

I understand I HAVE TO HAVE a mac to program, will a mini mac work or would I need something better?

What all is needed to program. Software? How Much?

How hard is it. I have had done some basic programming before. I have never worked with mac before.

Thanks for your help in advance.

You can dalbootmac and windows using IAtkos v7 and then all you need is the iphone sdk. You should look over objective c before you start abd maybe purchase a book on iphone development, check out this guide to dualbooting on a windows pc

If you decide to go the mac route, the Mac Mini should be fine. I started with one, but got sick of being tied to my desk, so I switched to a Macbook a few weeks later.

If you do go with the Mac Mini, I 100% recommend getting 2GB of RAM, 4 if you can afford it.
