Funny how the jailbreak community takes care of all devices and apple tells them to go **** themselves and buy a newer device

If you restore your phone, you'll lose the jailbreak and the patch, thus beeing able again to use jailbreakme.com

That can't be right. If you restore you are on 4.0.2 and can't use jailbreakme.com.

However, if you saved your SHSH blob you then could downgrade to 4.0 or 4.0.1 and use jailbreakme.com. I'm pretty sure this is correct, but I'm an idiot. Will someone smart verify this??
I thought my carrier was bad til I got a new web host

    Yeah, sorry.
I should make that clear that you need the SHSH blob and downgrade to 4.0 or 4.0.1, then jailbreak and then install the patch again.

Install the new one. It'll remove the older one automatically.

Thanks Saurik! I didn't install the previous "patch" because all it did was give an annoying popup. This one's great! I'm jailbroken, so I installed the patch, then went to jailbreakme to test it and sure enough, the PDF did nothing. Nice job!
