It is an additional $124 on top of your regular contract fee's! Screw that! I only pay $77 a year for the everything package (obviously not "everything" since it doesn't include internet radio)
    First, it's 2.99 x 12 which is < $36 a year for Premium internet for existing subscribers.

If you don't want Premium internet, then it is free to listen on the internet if you have a radio subscription.

The $124 is only for those that do not have an existing radio subscription and only want internet, so it is not "on top of your regular contract fees."

Same here I did not know that great!!!

I wish I had a miniature elephant that fit in the palm of my hand. I would pick him up and he'd lift up his trunk and stand on his back legs and say PRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPPPPHHHHHHHH and I would say yes little elephant i love you too.

You didn't mention that you can do timer recording of a station with TuneIn, and also go back up to 30 minutes in what you've been streaming. Those are awesome features, that I don't believe anything else has!

Do these apps limit by broadcasting network like heart radio? Basically iheart radio only streams Clear Channel stations.

You may be correct on the fee, I don't know. I logged in as a customer and it offered me internet for (my mistake earlier) $142! It says nothing about not having or not having a subscription.
XM I know is $2.99 a month with an existing account. The Sirius site is not easy to navigate.

Hmm... I know if I listen to it on Sirius.com or directly on the Sirius App it didn't work until I added the $2.99 internet fee.
Maybe it's because I am a lifetimer? I have never used the app itself because I had already paid for Pocket Tunes before it came out. I stream from my laptop for free with mywi as well.

WunderRadio is the best for all local & non local channels and beyond. i think it was $5.99. but well worth it. also iOS4 supported.

the interface is much nicer looking to navigate with the tunin radio vs pocket tunes. however i hate cheesy app icons and i think i would buy pocket tunes just because tunins flaky icon
I have been using wunderradio and ootunes

That is true. If you want to save even more money, cancel your account. They will beg you to come back and offer all kinds of deals.
