Something tells me iOS 4.1 will require iTunes 10 so we'll all have to work with it sooner or later.
This sound corrects I concur on this.

Painful resource editing too, only if i could keep my resource editing app from crashing, i could brighten it up.

Also alot of hints of apple plans in this rsrc file, most we already know.

I like the new iTunes (even thought there's not that much of a difference), but I think the new logo looks cheap. I dunno, but I prefer the old itunes icon, this one looks like a cheap photoshop job, that even I could have pulled off...

Infinifolder on my i4- Apps crashes. I can sync, though, so it seems no harm done.

I'm getting crashing as well on the "apps" tab.

    I have infinifolders installed.

Think we should expect a fix for this sometime soon?

So... is Ping really only for the US and Canada? That's the only reason for wanting to update at the moment to be honest. (Londoner BTW)
I think it is, I asked the sane question, and it's in the small print on the site online at the end if the page. Though can anyone tell me why??

Actually I upgraded to the GM 4.1 and it didn't require iTunes 10. Unlike 4.0 where I had to upgrade iTunes to upgrade to 4.0 GM.

    It may not be safe!

I just installed iTunes 10 on my iMac running the latest version of Leopard.

EVERY time I plug in my iPhone 3GS (JAILBROKEN) and choose "Apps" at the top menu it crashes!
    Same here!!!

Usually it has to do with media rights. They are secured in the US & Canada in this case. I am sure it will expand to other countries after the successful launch in North America.

Also, for all those who are complaining about the logo... if you watch the keynote speech, they explain it. Apple feels that the CD disc is dying and antiquated, so they cut the disc.

I really like iTunes 10. It seems to sync and backup my iPhone 3G much quicker than before. Now if I can just get upgraded to ios 4.1 (which is supposed to fix my doggedly slow 3G after I upgraded it to 4.0) this is after the Dev Team JB of course, then I'll be in great shape. Long enough to let my AT&T contract expire anyway and go back to using a new IPT 4g with MYWI for 3G access. So long voice plan (which I hardly use) what a rip-off:.
