I wonder how can someone use 25gb of data en a month... I understand at home (I personally use at least 200gb a month), but how much crap can you download on a phone, I am just wondering, I use 1gb max on my phone, I admit I am light user, but from 1 to 28?
I was kind of wondering that myself, I use my phone as my internet connect, even at home and I only go through 10-15GB per month. This using two laptops via MyWi as well.

Pretty interesting how everyone in this thread is attacking Verizon and sticking up for AT&T, whereas yesterday's "DataPro" thread had everyone attacking AT&T and sticking up for Verizon.

    Irony.

AT&T should charge an extra "idiot who jumped ship now wants to come back" fee.

"The amount of data usage that is considered "extraordinary" is not made clear, nor is the magnitude of the throttling that users will be under for up to two months. And it's not clear at all if there will be a warning, or if you just get slammed."

This sounds like grounds for class action suite, charging people for going over their limit is one thing but to charge them a second month when they haven't gone over is fraud.

This is why I break out in cold sweat going to Apple retail store.

EDIT: BTW, Verizon is going to start "optimizing" which means caching and compression (for video and images).

Great*. This reminds me of the same thing AOL was promoting years ago and it made all the image files on a website look like crap. So you get a nice shiny retina display, but your graphics will be all chunky and videos will look like a dial-up RealPlayer stream.
