I haven't made a line for the iPhone since the original, might have to consider it for this bad boy

I wish they had a picture of the front while it's powered up so we could see the screen size.
That is not an actual picture of a prototype, it's a stainless steel back replacement.
Username is 3GS, but theres stuff past that:

    iPhone 4
    iPad
    Macbook Pro

I think that when mobile devices are too light it actually makes them feel cheap. Same thing with them being too thin. The iPhone 4 shape, size and weight are perfect. They just need to alter the materials and how it's put together.

Is the photo suppose to be of a prototype Iphone 5?
My Iphone 4 looks exactly like the one pictured.
The brushed backplate is available on ebay for aprox $20 including shipping.

I concur. I would add an edge to edge screen and eliminate the home button for more screen. Put the home button on the side or top.

What I really want is a liquidmetal front. That would be BA. Who cares if I can't see.

That's exactly what I said yesterday or a couple days ago. I completely agree; the entire front of the phone should be real estate for nothing but screen. I'm not entirely too sure if it would be, but it could be another stamp for Apple being "First" on something and then all others would follow suit removing the black bars above and below the screen.

lets face it: if apple tries to pull the "no improved batter life" trick again, a lot of people will be disappointed. I sincerely hope that Apple increases battery life, because the chances are next to none that apple will not include the A5.

    Tricky business here.

Hopefully putting antenna in back behind the logo won't make my hand interfere with the signal

Eh.....looks neat but it isn't as sleek as the iPhone 4. The first iPhone back was ok.

Lol, removing the antenna from the sides which my hand interfered with when talk, to put it on the back of the phone. Cool, Apple, my hand doesn't often grace the back of the iphone when i use it. Are you serious???

Picture is misleading. Those stainless steal backs have been available for the iphone 4 for months now.
And PS: Don't but it, it's cheaply made.

I don't know if it's any better now but I got it right when it was released and the writing on the back started to get worn pretty fast. Besides that the part that the screws at the bottom screw into is plastic so it tends to get lose or break.

I wonder if the Iphone 5 will be 4G compatible. I live in a area in which ATT has the 4g network or the H network.
