I'm pretty sure you didn't see me complaining at all considering I've had a 3GS since launch and the iPhone 4 wasn't something that interested me. Now I'm ready to ugprade and thus follow the iPhone 5 news. Considering the article is specifically about iPhone 5 production with a picture of people assembling a device that doesn't look like any prior iPhone, I'd assume it is a picture of the iPhone 5 in production. Unfortunately no where in the article does it address the attached image and the source article doesn't have a picture at all.

It would be nice if the author didn't use false advertising (ie; the above image) to get me to click on the article. Or possibly it's just lazy writing. Pick one.
It shouldn't be the picture that gets you to click on the article.....it should be the article title itself. That particular picture was leaked a couple months ago and this site has routinely used iPhone 4 pictures in its article pic about iPhone 5 news. Don't mind the pics....they're just there as eye candy.

How can foxconn be producing 150 000 iphones a day when ios is not even at the golden master stage? All these "first batch iphones" will get to their owners with a beta version installed?
They are manufacturing the iPhones. They dont need to wait for iOS 5 to be finished to start putting the hardware together. They can flash the iPhones with iOS 5 GM later before shipping.

Possibly. Almost seems like they're rushing production....which leaves alot of potential for mistakes. But then again....Foxconn does employ a ton of workers as well.

I don't usually post, but everyone whining about the supposedly false advertising with this image needs to shut up.I can remember the good old days when this forum was about iPhone news, and people actually respected the writers.

Has anyone correlated FoxConn suicide rates with iDevice releases? This way we could get an idea of anticipated release of a product based on how many FoxConn employees kick the bucket.

Is that an actual photo of the iphone 5 in production or just a sloppy job at writing an article?

Mod edit: I am sure you could be positive when posting
