Okay, and what device are you using?

I have an iPad 1, iPod touch 4G, and iPhone 4 (GSM) all successfully running Corona 1.0-5.
    iPod touch 4G.

    Thank you sir.

EDIT: I went to get it from Cydia but I don't see 1.0-5, I only see 1.0-3.
    Refresh the Cydia packages.

    iPod touch 4G.
Don't know what could be causing your problems because here I am with an iPod touch 4G using Corona 1.0-5 (try enabling private browsing):

The syslog says something about fonts. I have my fonts symlinked to my private partition (to free system space) so maybe that's causing the problem.

Tried installing this several times last night and had to wait until this morning in the end because it was that popular cydia just wouldn't refresh for me.

Got it now, I didn't really have any problems with iBooks myself but an update is an update.

Now if we can just get pwnagetool updated with all the latest patches...
I just applied Corona 1.0.5 to my PwnageTool JB and iBooks now works perfectly.

Weird effect – after installing Corona, the Maps app fails.

I installed Corona 1.0-5 on an iPhone 4. The iPhone had previously been jailbroken using redsn0w 0.9.10b3, preserving baseband 01.59.00.

Good news: the Corona install made iBooks work.
Bad news: the Corona install made Maps fail. Even after rebooting the iPhone (multiple times), pressing the Maps icon resulted in a brief moment while Maps was presumably loading, but then it reverted back to the home screen.

I uninstalled Corona in Cydia — which un-jailbroke the phone. :-O
Luckily, re-jailbreaking is easy; I simply again ran redsn0w 0.9.10b3 (unchecking Cydia since it was already installed), and Maps again worked (although iBooks is again not working).

I am not sure if this affects people who did NOT create the custom IPSW used to preserve baseband. And I am not sure that even people who jailbroke they way I did will experience the Maps app failure. But, this is a warning.

Had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday! Also have iPhone 4 . Went home downloaded updated red snow and same thing maps app fail. So I just ran redsnow .3 and now my maps work.
