Any AT&T iPhone 5 user in an LTE enabled market able to confirm what our AT&T rep told me, that all models of iPhone 5 share the limitation of no cellular data on LTE when you're on a voice call?
Your At&t rep is right. LTE is purely data for now but it will change maybe a year or so. 3G for both voice & data.

Verizon went for the quick fix in their solution: cheap and fast upgrade to LTE but potentially more expensive LTE Advanced upgrade later. That's why they're being coy about LTE Advanced -- 5G.

AT&T went for the more costly long term upgrade that is taking longer to deploy but will make upgrades to LTE Advanced faster. This is why you're likely to see AT&T turning on LTE Advanced in some markets next year before they even finish their LTE system upgrade. I also know they're using multiple 10G links for back haul in those markets and they're looking at upgrading those to 100G.

AT&T's typical strategy is to go where they get the most payoff with the smallest investment, which means large metros in descending order (minus testbeds). The price they pay is in the optics: their coverage maps look bad even though they can rightfully claim to cover the vast, vast majority of their customer base.
Agree. At&t has $$$$ and the resources.

The equivalent of Gigabit Ethernet over cellular? You're joking right?

Got LTE in Allentown PA today. I'm getting 53 mb/s download and 15 upload... So much faster than HSPA+
I noticed it Sunday night at work but keeps switching between LTE & 4G. But when connected there is definitely a difference.
Hi. Does anyone know is iBlacklist available in the app store? can it only be purchased outside the app store? If so, is it hard to install? Thanks everyone.

I got almost 60mbps on AT&T LTE in the Atlanta area:

58.72mbps download and 27.29 upload on LTE. Only 30mbps download at home over WiFi (behind a DOCSIS3 cable modem).
