User Tag List

Notification Center is slightly dull – all it really does it offer you a list of your recent notifications, and allows you to either tap on them to open the application that the notification is from, or remove them from Notification Center. Obviously, more could be done to make Notification Center usable. That’s where this new Notification Center notification concept by Shaik Imaduddin comes into play.

The concept calls for allowing the user to swipe left on notifications in Notification Center to reveal options for the notification. For example, the Messages notifications come with three buttons – a call button, a message back button, and a remind me later button. For e-mail, swiping left will reveal a reply button, a delete button, and an organization button.

When the user taps on the reply button from a text message, the concept opens a text message composition sheet. When the user taps on the call button, the phone application launches to call the person that messaged you. The reminder feature allows the user to choose between being reminded of the notification in one hour, when they leave a location, when they get home, or when they get to work – the location-based reminders would use geofencing.

The developer shares that each application in iOS that you get a notification for would have its own unique options, for example, a Facebook notification would give the user the ability to comment, like, or share right from Notification Center without ever needing to open the Facebook application.

It’s a really simple concept, but definitely highly effective. Would you like to have these features for your Notification Center?

Looks actually very cool I like it although with ISX it has enough for me. If I didn't have it, this would definitely be what I would get !

ISX, Messages+ (which comes with ISX but you can buy separate) BiteSMS, and I believe lock info (not positive) already have this feature.

Yes so does ISX with messages+, but it's nice with these because its not a ton of features or a whole new messages app. (And yes I know you do not have to use it) it's a simple tweak that does exactly what it's suppose to
