Last week, we showed you the new Velox jailbreak tweak by Apex Tweaks, which allows you to actually use your applications right from the home screen without having to open them. While many applications were supported out of the box, not all of them were. On the other hand, third-party developers have the ability to create their own plugins for Velox to make it do more, such as a new one called Addial for Velox by iOS developer ravirajm.

Addial, if you recall, is a Notification Center add-on that makes it easier to access your contacts and make phone calls from Notification Center. Addial for Velox, as the name implies, brings the features of Addial to Velox, rather than Notification Center.

After installing the add-on, you can swipe up or down on the Contacts application icon to reveal three buttons: Add Contact, Dial, and Call Contact. Tapping on the three, in that order, brings up the features below:

The Add Contact button brings up an ‘add contact’ sheet that allows you to fill out the form with the contact’s information that you want stored in the Contacts application. The Dial button brings up a number pad and a text field that you can use to input a phone number to call. The Call Contact button brings up a contacts sheet that shows all of the existing contacts in your Contacts application so you can call them.

The Addial for Velox add-on looks good and functions well. It doesn’t come with any options to configure. If you’re interested in giving it a shot on your Velox-enabled iOS 6 device, you can grab the add-on absolutely free from Cydia’s ModMyi repository.

They need to add that "DIAL" button to PHONE app. I dont want to ruin my clean looking springboard with that sketchy Contacts app. :/
