Velox is a neat jailbreak tweak because it lets you operate application functions right from the home screen without actually having to open the applications themselves. Another one of the cool features of the tweak is the ability for third party developers to create add-ons that will build upon the functionality that it has right out of the box.

The latest add-on for Velox called SettingsVelox by iOS developer M_Vincent_M gives you the ability to easily reboot your device, shut down your device, or respring your device. In addition, it has a volume slider and a brightness slider that you can use to your advantage.

Notably, the tweak doesn’t add these features to the Settings application even though the tweak has “settings” in the name. Instead, the Settings application will still have all of the toggles and sliders that it has out of the box. SettingsVelox adds a new application icon to the home screen that you slide up or down on to access the aforementioned power features and sliders. The icon looks like a gear, similarly to the Settings application, and it says Velox on it.

SettingsVelox is a free download from Cydia's BigBoss repository; however, you must still purchase Velox from Cydia's BigBoss repository for $1.99 to use the add-on. SettingsVelox doesn't have any options to configure and requires iOS 6 or later.
