Apple recently updated its WWDC 2013 iOS app, bringing a number of feature enhancements and bug fixes to the title ahead of the conference which is scheduled to kick off this upcoming Monday. Along with the “numerous” bug fixes, WWDC for iOS version 1.0.1 brings a feature which allows videos streaming over AirPlay to continue to play after suffering an interruption, such as a device lock or phone call.
In addition, events that have been favorited are now extended to 11:00 pm and a fix was put in for a bug that would cause video and audio to be muted when switching the ringer to silent. A list of all the issues resolved can be found below:
Favorites in Events go all the way to 11 PM
Duplicate section headers in the videos list no longer appear
The navigation bar in Events no longer disappears
Blurry text in session details has been corrected
Version information has been added to augment future bug reports or feedback
The update to Apple’s WWDC companion app comes just three days before the conference is scheduled to kick off. For those of you who are attending but haven’t yet downloaded the free app, you can do so from the iOS App Store.
WWDC 2013 is set to run from June 10 through June 14 at Moscone West in San Francisco, where Apple will preview its next-generation iOS 7 and OS X 10.9. Also rumored to be unveiled at the event are refreshed to the MacBook lineup including a slimmer 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro and dual-mic MacBook Air. Last but not least, the new “iRadio” music streaming service will also be making its debut.
So I guess this layout is a taste of what the new iOS is going to look like - this is exactly the UI that I have wanted for years! Its not that far off from the original - but its cleaner and more importantly, HAS NO GLOSS!

Probably only applies to people actually going which might only be 1 person in this forum.
Actually,
I think there is more than one people on the forum that is going. I for one is going so if there is someone else on here that is going then 1+1 = 2.

Or if you're the only person going then 1+0 = 1. lol!

I agree, the UI in the app is likely what we'll see in iOS 7 and I'm very much looking forward to it. Minimal graphics will give way to much smoother, rich-looking transitions and animations since they are much lighter-weight.
Huh? If that is a look into what iOS 7 is probably going to look like, than my recent comments are no longer valid. It's not too bad I must say. I guess British simple looks good as an iOS.
keynote was long (as usual) but extremely nice to watch. skipped to the iOS part and all i can say is i am impressed with appl has done with iOS. original, but simple. original in the fact we still have 4 columns and 4 rows (iPhone 4/4S, 5 if youre and iphone 5 guy), and simple bcuz of the beautiful colors. sure its a mixture of jailbreak and android but its nice. i still will jailbreak my iPhone 4S later on (which hopefully the evasi0n team can do). Lets all root for evasi0n!!! (play on words there since iOS resembles somewhat of android lol the word 'root' haha)
