eBay has partnered up with some other companies like Sculpteo, MakerBot, and Hot Pop Factory to create a new application for iOS users called eBay exact. The application gives users access to 3D printers, allowing them to create and customize goodies for themselves, for a price that is...

As eBay explains, users have access to a variety of materials to create things from, such as plastics, woods, and metals. Users will also be able to engrave anything that they may have printed using the 3D printing technology.

Upon opening the application, the user will have multiple items to choose from, such as iPhone cases, figurines, jewelery, and more. Tapping on a product will bring the user to a screen where they can customize the product before it is made. For example, customizing an iPhone case may involve choosing a color, the iPhone model, and the engraved text for the rear.

Once the product is made to the user’s liking, the user can then place their order and their creation will ship out to them.

If you would like to give the new eBay Exact application a try, you can download the application from the App Store for free via this App Store link.

Its a great idea...but it needs more variety. Needs to have cases for all iPods/iPads, and some more items, at the moment there isn't much choice

The app is a cool idea but I figured when they said customizable it was a little more than just choose out of 15-20 items and then engrave with minor colour changes available for some products. Not really even decent.

They aren't the same thing, so get over it. Good luck using just a clip to load your gun.

I didn't know this was a gun forum so let's not get all technical. It's like some members who keep correcting grammatical mistakes of others. This is not a English grammar forum either.

This is one of my pet peeves. It is used wrong in the media constantly, and typically by newer shooters.

That and when people refer to hard drive storage as memory.

"This is not AN English language forum." Lmfao! Sorry couldn't resist. I can't believe no one else jumped on that. App not available in Canada. Should've seen that coming. I think it's a pretty nifty idea.

Now if I could get these through this app I'd throw money at them.

I've been shooting/handling guns for thirty years and use the word 'clip' so accept it and move on! Your pet peeve has become our pet peeve!!!

Or...and this might be a shocker...but people use the word 'clip' to mean the same as 'magazine!'

I know, I know...you're gonna need to sit down and take it all in. It's world-changing news! And while we're at it, lets debate if Miracle Whip or Mayonnaise tastes better; that's also detrimental to society...

Oh...and guess what? You used the word 'you' incorrectly; it's 'thou.' See how petty you all look???

Because self tagged/named images are a great source. Google doesn't analyze the content of the images, it just indexes what the images file names are. I could put and a picture of a bunny and name the file extended_gun_magazine.jpg and eventually it would should up in Google image search.

Let's try Guns & Ammo magazine as a better source: http://www.gunsandammo.com/2012/03/0...term-mistakes/

Or just google "clip vs magazine"
