Apple’s AppleCare staff has reportedly begun training for Apple’s upcoming Mac operating system, OS X Mavericks. The news not only confirms a near future release, but also lets us know that Apple's team is getting ready to be able to help customers with their latest products.

AppleCare staff will need to know about OS X Mavericks’ new features because when consumers begin calling with issues or questions regarding the new operating system, the staff will need to be able to help in respect to the consumers’ needs.

OS X Mavericks will add a number of new features to the Mac, including a Maps application, an iBooks application, App Nap technology, Finder tabs, file tags, and much more. The operating system will, for the most part, still look like previous versions of OS X without the complete visual overhaul that happened in iOS 7.

There is still no set release date for OS X Mavericks, but rumors are pointing to the end of October, according to MacRumors.
