On Friday, Rovio has updated their all-new Angry Birds Star Wars II game for iOS, bringing the game up to version 1.1.0. Angry Birds Star Wars II was released just this July, and has been a big App Store hit since its launch.

In today’s update, Rovio has packed in 8 new secret levels, which can be unlocked by finding hidden maps. Rovio has also added four new characters to the game, which all Star Wars fans will be familiar with, including a holographic Darth Sidious, a silver C3PO, a red battle droid, and a Shadowtrooper. Each of these new characters has their own reward levels as well, which come along with the eight new secret levels.

The game has also been given some refreshing bug fixes and stability improvements to enhance the gaming experience for players.

Existing players of Angry Birds Star Wars II will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Angry Birds Star Wars II for iPhone and iPod touch at this App Store link for 99¢.

    Who plays Angry Birds still?
I honestly find those games boring and repetitive.
