Yeah big boss it's driving me mad, it also won't show the description of the tweaks but it's nice they are starting to be added.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful (because I am grateful, I can't do this on my own), but THIS is what so many people find aggravating!! Wasn't ready for the JB, still don't have a new MS, but look at the all the pretty colors and new icons that add absolutely nothing to usefulness or functionality of the program
I think this sense of entitlement is a generational thing. Out of curiosity how old are you? Everyone under the age of 30 or so seems to think they deserve things rather than expecting nothing and being appreciative for what comes their way. As it was referenced back in 2008 when Cydia was first introduced there was hardly any functionality compared with today but people get used to having it all RIGHT NOW (instant gratification?!). It's comments like this which discouraged me from my once passionate involvement in this community because I realized I was spending more time talking sense into people which is impossible rather than allowing myself to take a step back and let go. I bet if I look around you're the same typical person who throws a fit when devs have the audacity to charge more than $0.99 for an app that took them months and countless hours to code.

If anyone starts a sentence with "not to be /insert word here/"... then guess what.... YOU ARE /INSERT SAME WORD HERE/! You are ungratefull. You are selfish. After you finish opening up all the presents tomorrow that you absolutely do not deserve... when you get the feeling to say to your parents/family..... "I really like all this stuff... and no to sound ungrateful... but I didn't get /insert present/".... you'll know deep down inside you're a spoiled brat.

You've clearly missed the point...imagine your parents promised you a car all year long and on Christmas morning you find a "Hot Wheels" under the tree. I am not ungrateful, just seriously disappointed.
Wow! What a ******* little **** you are. He had no idea that the jailbreak was even being released. Without him the jailbreak community would have nothing. Try not to act so entitled you little brat.

And thank you Kyle. For putting in work so close to the holidays. It really is appreciated by a lot of us out here. I know there are a lot of kids who ruin the vibe for us, but know that there are thankful people in the crowd to.

Sigh, I still can't get the jailbreak to complete. It just gets stuck on configuring system (2/2), I've left it for an hour and still zilch.

    iPhone 5s 7.0.4
    Updated via iTunes
    No pass lock on phone.

    What am I doing wrong?

Use a Mac. Windows version has serious issues. No one's had a single trouble jb'ing from a Mac.

A great sign, now the jailbreak community is working together. Great job Kyle, Jay, Ryan and Surenix. thanks so much for your efforts.

OK, lets all jump off the band wagon and move on. Please no more negative comments/bashing.
Can't we all just get along?

Are you 100% certain that's cydia is only good for Just looking at it?! We all know the updates are coming. It's call preparation. I can see it now, your one of those people that is gonna wait till everything is updated before you jailbreak, maybe 7.1 will be out maybe not. But what if it is and your one of the few people that get the apple boot logo and are forced to restore. You going to blame the devs for that and beg for a 7.1 jb or would you rather prepare from now?

Just up and take it as it comes or go make your own update.

It may seem like a generational issue and it's true to some extent but there are also many people in they're 30 and 40s that are the same. It's just how people are these day, they want something for nothing and are lazy which is also the chase of all the people in poor shape. But it does seem more prominent with every younger generation.

But also remember there is a very fine line between being self entitled and giving an opinion. There is nothing wrong with giving an opinion as long as it is done in a respectful manner. And the guy did say not to be disrespectful so I won't go as far to say he is self entitled even tho i can see how it would be taken that way.

As for this whole situation it really is one big foul up so I can kinda understand people frustration(s). tho it will all be sorted out in due time which is what people need to really understand.

I'm starting to see some pretty serious apps available for the jailbreak. Is it safe to assume that the Mobile Substrate is now fixed and 7 compatible in the new Cydia. Did this update address this as well?

    Thanks!

I'll be 43 in February and I stand by my statement, the community gained virtually nothing with the Cydia update. I offered an opinion, just like you, but I did it without being a condescending *****. Care to offer any other insights?

I am all for you sharing your opinion… That's a great thing about this forum. And I'm right with you there and will defend your right to do so. And the content of what you stated is also quite right. We gained very little with a color upgrade to Cydia. But it was your timing and the way you stated in the thread that really becomes the issue.

People still had to put in a lot of work to get those color changes, and on their own time.

I'm only out a few years older than you and I'll tell you a little secret I learned about communication, even in a written form. Whenever you feel you have to qualify a sentence with the words "I don't mean to sound ungrateful"… You will ALWAYS end up sounding ungrateful. And unless I miss my guess, you actually "aren't grateful" when you have to make that qualification. So the moment you feel you have to write that qualification, rethink writing your opinion at all. Jes' sayin'..

It's exactly as I stated, I am grateful for any update as I lack the ability to hack my own phone, but a drink of water provides little satisfaction to a starving man. I'm sorry if you can't understand that...
