Whether or not you're a fan of all the aesthetic changes in iOS 7, jailbreaking your iOS device(s) will always give you the ability to change things around to your liking.

A new free jailbreak tweak called ClassicDock by iOS developers CoolStar and sharedRoutine will get rid of the new flat Home Screen application dock style in iOS 7 and make it look like it did in iOS 6, as shown above. The tweak includes the mirrored glass panel appearance that reflects the application icons that are on it.

The skeuomorphic design of the glass iOS 6-style dock doesn't really fit in with the rest of iOS 7's user interface rules, but it still looks cool. Those not happy with the boring iOS 7 dock can certainly use this tweak as a way to at least backtrack to a dock style that looked good in the past.

ClassicDock is not compatible with the iPhone 4 and will not run on iOS 7.1 beta. You'll have to be using a newer device running iOS 7.0-iOS 7.0.4 to use this tweak. If you want to give it a try and see if you like the results, you can download ClassicDock for free from Cydia's BigBoss repository.

I want to know if an iOS 1.x.x dock is available for iOS 7. When I think of a classic dock, I think of the dock before the reflective dock... I want a true classic dock haha

am i the only one who thinks the dock is pointless, in general, since its not present anywhere but the home screen? i wish i could just get rid of the dock.

How exactly is that pointless? Instead of flicking through pages and folders you have your most used apps right there on every page.

Does DockShift work on iPadAir, iPadMini 2, iPhone 4 and iPhone 5?

Is Classic Dock better than Dockshift?

Anyone with experience please advise, thanks!

Dockshift is more for blurring your dock to various degrees while classicdock is mainly for icon reflections.
