If you use the Music application that comes pre-installed on every iOS device, then chances are that you're familiar with the "Store" button that appears at the top left of the application's interface. If you tap on that button, you'll be taken to the iTunes Store to view Apple's media offerings that you can purchase and download.

Since the user can just go to the iTunes application to view Apple's media offerings, it makes just about no sense to have that button hovering around in the Music application interface. In addition, it seems that it gets in the way all the time when you're tapping on the back button several times to get back to your list of synced songs. If you're not careful, you'll end up tapping on it and landing yourself in the iTunes application instead of the list of synced songs, where you probably meant to be.

A new free jailbreak tweak called NoStoreButton7 by iOS developer Riki Oktarianto removes the Store button from the Music application user interface, as shown above. In doing so, a lot of frustration and/or unnecessary clutter is removed from the Music application.

With the tweak installed, the Store button is automatically removed from the Music application. There are no options to configure. If you want to give the tweak a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak requires iOS 7 to be installed.

I just hid the iTunes app from Settings which got rid of the Store button. Doesn't require iOS 7 or even a jailbreak. I don't buy music on my phone so it would be hidden any, 2 birds with one stone.
