On Tuesday, Apple seeded iOS 7.1 beta 5 to developers for testing. The beta is a pre-release of the software that Apple gives developers to try out before releasing the software officially to the public.

iOS 7.1 beta 5 comes a little over two weeks after the developer seed of iOS 7.1 beta 4. Beta 5 improves the Siri voice for other languages and accents, as well as a number of other miscellaneous improvements.

The iOS device initially uses a compact voice for Siri. After you have configured a Wi-Fi network and have the device connected to a power source, iOS will automatically download and install a higher quality version.
Notably, iOS 7.1 beta 4 patches a code-signing bug that is used in the evasi0n7 jailbreak, and iOS 7.1 beta 5 carries on that patch, so anyone that is already jailbroken that values their existing jailbreak should hold off from updating to iOS 7.1 beta 5. The public release of iOS 7.1 will also have this bug patched.

Those on the developer update channel that aren't jailbroken and have no intention of jailbreaking their device will find the iOS 7.1 beta 5 update under the Software Update preferences pane in the Settings application. It comes in at just under a 100MB download.
