If you take a lot of selfie photos using the front-facing camera that you post on Facebook, share with your friends/family, or even send to your girlfriend/boyfriend, then you might enjoy having quicker access to the front-facing Camera from the Home Screen.

A new jailbreak tweak called Selfie by iOS developer Zogo is now available that allows you to grab the application icon dock on the Home Screen and pull up on it to reveal a hidden front-facing Camera interface.

The dock stays at the top of the screen while you're in this camera interface, as shown above, and at the bottom of the screen, you'll find a "Snap" button, which you can tap on to take a picture. To exit out of the camera interface, just grab the application icon dock from the top of the screen, and drag down with it, and you'll end up on the Home Screen again.

Since the tweak is intended for self-shots only, there is no way to turn on the rear-facing camera from this interface.

The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application so you can enable or disable the tweak on demand:

Selfie is really only intended for the people out there that actually enjoy taking pictures of themselves. If you don't, then you really won't find much of a use for this tweak. If you want to give it a try, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now for 99. It requires iOS 7 to be installed.
