One of the very minor changes from iOS 6 to iOS 7 is that Apple removed the rounded corner effect in iOS. Instead, iOS 7 carries sharp corners that fill the entire display.

A new free jailbreak tweak called RoundScreenCorners by iOS developer GL.CHEN will bring back the rounded corner effect for iOS 7 users that miss the aesthetic appeal of the rounded corner effect in iOS 7.

Shown above, if you look very closely to the corners at the edge of the display, you can see how iOS 7 has sharp, pointy corners, but with the tweak installed, the corners become smooth and rounded, just like they were in iOS 6 and earlier.

The effect will take place everywhere – the Lock Screen, the Home Screen, and even in applications:

The tweak can be enabled or disabled at any time from the preferences pane that is added to the Settings application:

If you want to give RoundScreenCorners a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak requires iOS 7 to be installed.

I didn't even notice the sharp corners now. Never even looked at the corners really.

The tweak functions exactly as it is advertised without any bugginess at all. It doesn't deserve to be down-scored, in my opinion.

Whether or not you like the aesthetics just decides whether or not you should install it.

Wow this is very VERY important. Haha this is the WORST tweak EVER. I hate the creator for thinking about this !

What if I want the background of the round corners to be white so it matches my white iPhone؟

    I think its great.
Having the option to control these fine details if you chose is important.
    Sorta the core of modding.
    Thank you.

I have the tweak, the corners don't go all the way to the white bezel, there's a small layer of black in between. This tweak looks just as good on white phones as black.

I was being sarcastic (hence, the sarcasm quote I added at the end)! If the background were to be white, the edge would be square again!

Amazing how this tweak enables time travel.

For some reason, the article has 2 before/after pictures. In one of them, the "after" shot goes back-in-time 1 minute. In the other, it goes back 4 minutes!
