If you're running iOS 7 on your device, then you're probably familiar with Control Center, a new feature that Apple implemented in iOS 7 to bring application shortcuts, music controls, quick toggles, and more all into one place for easy access.

On the other hand, if you're jailbroken and using an alternative method to accessing everything that Control Center offers to you, then you can disable Control Center outright with a new free jailbreak tweak called NoCC by iOS developer rob311. Once installed, you won't be able to open Control Center anymore by dragging up from the bottom of the display.

Even if you're not using some other alternative method to toggles, media controls, and application shortcuts, if you simply hate Control Center, then that's another reason to disable it. It can be annoying when you're in an application and you accidentally swipe close enough to the bottom of the display that Control Center thinks you want it to open up.

If you'd like to give NoCC a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak has no options to configure and you must be running iOS 7 to use it.
