We've been seeing a lot of tweaks recently with the intention of making it easier to share screenshots as soon as you take them, such as ScreenshotShare, and ScreenshotShareSheet, but for some reason, they all seem to have different features than the others, and none of them just have all the features in one. Until now...

A new jailbreak tweak dubbed iScreenShot by iOS developer DarthL is now available in Cydia, and to date, it offers the highest amount of features and customization of functionality that we've seen in a jailbreak tweak like this.

As soon as you press the home and power buttons together at the same time, rather than immediately taking a screenshot and saving it to your Camera Roll, this tweak will display a share sheet instead. From here, you can choose to:

    • Share the screenshot via AirDrop
    • iMessage or MMS the screenshot
    • Tweet the screenshot
    • Post the screenshot on Facebook
    • Share the screenshot on Flickr
    • Save the screenshot to the Camera Roll
    • Assign the screenshot to an existing contact
    • Copy the screenshot to your Clipboard
    • Print the screenshot to your AirPrint-enabled printer
    • Open the screenshot in third-party applications like Dropbox or iFile
    • Share with Wechat, Sina WeiBo, TencentWeibo, and more

You will need to tap on the "More" button to reveal the ability to open the screenshot in third-party applications on your iOS device.

iScreenShot adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can choose what options will show up in the share sheet when you attempt to take a screenshot:

Options that are enabled will appear in the share sheet, while options that are disabled will not appear in the share sheet.

Since when we take screenshots we usually have the intentions of sharing the screenshot with someone, this tweak serves a useful purpose in most general scenarios. If you would like to download and try iScreenShot, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now for 99. It works on iOS 6, as well as iOS 7, but only on 32-bit iOS devices.

    Name: iScreenShot

Requirements: iOS 7.0-7.0.6, 32-bit iOS device
Tested on: iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.6
