In iOS 7, when your morning alarm goes off, you will get a snooze option on the Lock Screen. On the other hand, Apple could have made this much better by giving you the option to either snooze or stop the alarm immediately.

That's what a new free jailbreak tweak called StopAlarm by iOS developer Rene Kahle aims to improve on.

As shown above, with the tweak installed, you will get an alert notification when an alarm goes off asking if you want to snooze the alarm or stop the alarm completely, rather than only being presented with the option to snooze the alarm like before the tweak was installed.

StopAlarm is a very simple change for convenience added to the alarm interface in iOS 7 that could easily be recommended for all iOS alarm users. If you want to give the tweak a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. It doesn't have any options to configure.

I could see this going bad lol. I usually press the volume button to snooze it. I could def see myself hitting stop instead of snooze in my sleep with my eyes closed.

Completely disagree. While I can indeed see myself tapping the wrong side, this is a great tweak for many people who are not burning the candle at both ends!

It's about time I've been waiting for snoozeorstop to be updated for ios7..
A recommendation though for people who worried about hitting stop....maybe add a confirmation box that says are you sure or do you want to snooze options?

If you swipe the screen instead of tapping to snooze that shuts the alarm off too.

Yup, seems easier than hitting a tiny button, but thanks to the developer nonetheless for making the tweak
