If you were hoping to get your mitts on the new iPhone 6 in August, you're going to be disappointed - that is, if the information provided from a German carrier is correct.

apfelpage.de. reports that officials for Deutsche Telekom have been notified that Apple's next flagship smartphone - believed to be called "iPhone 6" - will launch on September 19th. If, of course, Germany is among the handful of initial launch countries, this means U.S. consumers will not get the iPhone 6 any earlier than their German counterparts.

Give that the 5s and iPhone 5c both reached consumers almost one year to the date earlier (September 20th), it's an obvious guess - if not an informed tip - that Apple would proceed with the iPhone 6 roll out on Friday, September 19th.

All told, it appears that Apple isn't breaking any molds on product and software refreshes. If Apple unveils iOS 8 on Monday (at WWDC 14) and the iPhone 6 in September, it will once again be business as usual for Apple.

Not a huge surprise. Everyone seems to want to believe that they'll release it sooner every year though.
