No it should disappear and be replaced by the Cydia icon.

There should be 2 resprings that occur after jailbreaking. The 2nd respring will replace the pangu app with the Cydia app.
I have cydia, but i also still have the pangu app. Should i clear the cache via icleaner?

The pangu app is still on my phone after jailbreaking it. Is that supposed to happen?
I had this happen to me on 1 out of the 5 devices I jailbroke.

It's supposed to disappear. You can probably re-jailbreak to get rid of it.

would it be safe to just simply delete the pangu app?

Took 2 attempts but work very quickly! Glad this came out as was having issues with something on my phone! This made it easy to go for a full restore knowing I'd still have a jailbreak! All round very quick and straight forward! Now to sit back and wait for my tweaks to get updated!

iPhone 5 GSM was a bit glitchy compared to an older iphone 4, however it seems to be working pretty well now!

Glad to finally enjoy the 7.1 improvements

You can delete the Pangu app but it leaves files on your system, there is a tweak on cydia to remove it called Complete PP remover, also AFC2add has been update by Saurik 'Apple File Conduit 2' is now available on cydia 👍

My iPhone died, so I needed this jailbreak. I can tell you: Gridlock does NOT work. Activator kinda does, although my five-finger-spread is not recognized. Open Backup failed COMPLETELY, I wish I had used something else, consequently, Wifi Passwords is not populated with my previous passwords.

Yup. Worked fine on my iPhone 4, iPod Touch 5G and iPad mini retina.
I restored my ip5s, made sure my hosts file is blank. ( I tried saving my 7.0.6 Ipsw for restore before, tried on 2 diff computers, running windows 7. No go. I get these red q marks. Now I see a lot of the q marks, but whatever I do, phone stays unresponsive to JB, doesn't do jack!

Simply disappointed, I've always been able to make things work. No friggin idea!

I had the same problem with my iPhone 5s. I simply delete the Pangu app from my phone and restated my PC and it worked like a charm. Hope this helps.

My battery took a huge hit upgrading to 7.1.1 and jailbreaked it. I even see something loading in the background (in the status bar), even after killing all apps.
Did you just finish updating or downloading some apps from app store? Even when I was on stock 7.1.1, I found that my phone would continue to use data even after the download/install finished. A reboot fixes this.

Has there been any reported success on A1428 32gb i5 on Tmobile? I'm currently running 7.0.6 but would rather not lose my JB. I also have an Air 64gb on 7.0.6. Any reports on that device?

    Thanks

You're probably better off just staying with your current JB and waiting to see how things go when Pangu gets updated. "If it ain't broke, dont fix it"
