If you would like to add some color to your volume HUD (heads-up display) in iOS 7, then we've got a cool new jailbreak tweak to show you. It's called ColorfulVolume by iOS developer ryebread761 and it allows you to add a hue of color to your volume HUD, as shown above.

ColorfulVolume adds a preferences pane to your Settings application where you can configure it to your liking:

From here, you can do such things as enable or disable the tweak on demand to go from colorful or boring whenever you want to, choose the RGB color that you want to use by way of three sliders, and pick an alpha level. If you don't know what color you want to use, you can even enable a random option, which will make the volume HUD a random color each time that you open it.

You can limit the changes you make here to volume HUD only, or you can extend the changes you make to the ringer HUD as well. You can also configure a custom title for your volume HUD in our case, we put "ModMyi" for a demonstration.

If you would like to give ColorfulVolume a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now. The tweak does require iOS 7 to be installed.
