If you're an avid user of Skype for iOS and you want a way to quickly reply to the people that are messaging you without needing to close out of the interface that you're in, you'll want to check out an awesome new jailbreak tweak called QuickReplier for Skype by iOS developer VladMax Soft.

What this tweak will do is bring you quick reply functionality to your Skype application for iOS. It doesn't matter if you're using an older version of Skype, such as version 4, or the new version 5 that Microsoft just released not too long ago – both are supported. It works off of the interface of a free jailbreak tweak called Couria to bring this functionality to you, as you can see above. It's brought up by tapping on a notification banner from a Skype message that you receive.

The Skype quick reply interface looks very polished with a nice iOS 7-esque user interface. You can see previous messages in your conversation, as well as reply to them via the text box at the bottom of the interface. When you tap on the camera button, you have the option to take a new photo and send it, send a photo from your Photo Library, or Doodle your own drawing to send to them. To take advantage of the Doodle feature, you need to have another free jailbreak tweak called Doodle Message installed.

QuickReplier for Skype adds a preferences cell to the Couria preferences pane in the Settings application where you can configure the tweak's appearance and behavior to your liking:

From here, you can enable or disable the tweak on the demand, disable the quick reply on the Lock Screen, theme the quick reply interface, choose a font size, configure passcode options, and visit more advanced settings.

From the advanced settings, you will be able to add a G prefix to group titles, enable or disable showing older messages in your Skype conversation, configure how many messages appear, and configure timeouts for when things have issues sending.

It's worth mentioning that users of Skype 5.0 and later need to open the application manually and respring after logging in, but Skype 4.0 users will find this process to be much more automatic when getting started.

QuickReplier for Skype is available right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository for $2.99. Skype and Couria must both be installed to use this tweak – Couria may need to be installed manually if you don't already have it installed.
