On Wednesday, major U.S. cellular carrier Sprint announced that it had unveiled its 4G LTE ultra-fast cellular network in 17 new markets across the United States.

Those lucky new locations include the following:

    • Eureka/Arcata/Fortuna, CA
    • Redding, CA
    • Bethesda, MD
    • Dubuque, IA
    • Danville, IL
    • Marion/Herrin, IL
    • Mt. Vernon, IL
    • Hopkinsville, KY
    • Rochester, MN
    • Hattiesburg, MS
    • Auburn, NY
    • Buffalo, NY
    • Utica, NY
    • Bloomsburg/Berwick, PA
    • Indiana, PA
    • Pittsburgh, PA
    • Eau Claire, WI

Sprint remains behind Verizon and AT&T in terms of coverage, but they're still working hard to prove that they're willing to grow as a carrier.

4G LTE offers a theoretical download speed of around 100Mb/s; however, due to the realities of network congestion, the download speeds on 4G LTE in real life situations are significantly slower. Many of Apple's latest devices, including the iPhone 5s, iPad Mini with retina display, and iPad Air can take advantage of Sprint's 4G LTE network.

Still can't figure out what they have against Cincinnati, OH. Much bigger market than most locations they're adding these days.

So I found an error in your post here sir....this is what it should have actually said....

"4G LTE offers a theoretical download speed of around 100Mb/s; however, due to the realities of [Sprint's sh*tty network], the download speeds on 4G LTE in real life situations are significantly slower."

Yay! Sprint is bringing out LTE speed in more markets. ...Not that it matters anyways when their LTE speed is about the speed of everyone else's 3G speeds...

They probably don't have anything against Cincinnati, but it may be cheaper to roll out in other locations first.
