If this isn't a tell-tale sign that Apple is about to release a new iPhone, we don't know what is.

According to the online smartphone buyback service Gazelle, an old iPhone is now worth more than you'll probably get for it anywhere else. Just how much could you get? Best case scenario puts you well over $300.

Additionally, Gazelle is making it possible to "lock in" the price for your iPhone (you have to do this by September 9th - the date Apple is expected to unveil it's new flagship model) but you get to keep your current iPhone until October 10th, which gives you plenty of time to score a new iPhone 6.

To see just how much your iDevice will go for depending on its model and condition, check out Gazell's updated offer page here.

HAHAHAHA is this a joke? You'd have to be insanely stupid to sell your phone to Gazelle, hell, I'll pay $50 more than Gazelle to you for your phone and STILL make a huge profit by selling it on eBay or Craigslist, run away from Gazelle like a gazelle lol.

Hey Michael Essany, why not tell us how you really feel and change that headline to something less likely to get one of your unaware readers screwed by Gazelle? Or how about you indicate that this headline is sarcastic by putting /s after it? Thank you.

Gazelle re sells your device on eBay. They have a store listed on there. That's the main reason why they will give u 150-200 bucks for a phone. They have to make a profit from re selling.

I 100% reccommend glyde.com to people who are looking to sell. I sold my 4s 32gb in good condition for 290$ last august. They go for much more and the glyde system is quite awesome and simple.

I'll stick to eBay. Don't care to meet anyone in a dark alley.

Gazelle buys these to resell. So, like a used car, you will always get a better price by selling it yourself.

Ebay will always get you you the best price, but there is the risk of scammers since Ebay always automatically backs the buyer, not the seller.

Craigslist would be next best. But you'll get a lower price probably because the buyer has no protection after the transaction.

Bottom line: buying companies like Gazelle is for suckers.
