Instagram users that have always wanted to copy text from their Instagram picture feed no longer have to feel upset over the fact that Instagram won't let you do it. iOS developer iMokhles has come up with a solution for jailbreakers that want to be able to copy any text from the comments, photo captions, or other text from the Instagram application, such as the text that comes up in your Instagram picture feed.

The new jailbreak tweak is called InstaCopyTXT and it's completely free to download from Cydia. With the tweak installed, when you double-tap on any text from the Instagram application, you will get the following iOS 8-style share menu that will allow you to copy the text you double-tapped on:

It's perfect for when a company you're following shares links to Web sites to where they might be selling a cool new product you like, although you can't copy and paste their URL because Instagram doesn't let you. This tweak will save your buns and save you the trouble of having to type it out manually. It also has many other uses that we're sure you'll discover in time after using it for a while.

The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can enable or disable the tweak on demand:

If you want to give InstaCopyTXT a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak works on both iOS 7 and iOS 8, but it requires that the free Instagram application from the App Store (direct link) is installed to be used.
