Folderix is a new jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Smartviper E75 that brings you a ton of new features for your folders in iOS 8. Among these new features are the ability to colorize the folder backgrounds, adjust the transparency, quickly move between folders by swiping left and right on the name of the folder, and much more.

The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure the tweak to your liking:

    Options include:

    • Enabling and disabling the tweak on demand
    • Enabling and disabling an animation for switching between folders
    • Enabling and disabling the pinch-to-close-folder gesture
    • Hiding or showing the page dots in the folder
    • Choosing whether or not to close the folder after opening an application
    • Colorizing the folder with the amount of transparency and the color that you want

A respring button is included in the preferences pane to save your changes when you modify the settings.

To switch between folders while in a folder, you can just swipe to the left or to the right on the name of the folder above the folder background. The developer is also working on a cool future update for the tweak that adds folder previews to the bottom of the interface, although an ETA on this update is unknown at this point in time. The developer did, however, share what the previews would look like, and you can see them below:

If you want to give Folderix a try for your folder-customizing needs, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now for just 99. The tweak supports both iOS 7 and iOS 8.

Bought this and regret it, it's lame, it doesn't scroll the folders in the order of the pages they are on, if I open the first folder on page one and scroll it opens folders at random, it's easier to just scroll through my pages to get to the folder on that page.
