The iOS version of the Yelp application has been updated with some improvements to not only the feature set, but also to the speed of the application. Version 9.2.0 is now available in the iOS App Store as of this writing.

Among the feature set improvements in the new version of Yelp for iOS are some major improvements to photo uploading in the Yelp application. If you had ever wanted to upload photos to share your experience at a location via the Yelp application, you probably remember it being a painstaking process. Yelp has made the feature much more streamlined so that it's easier to access and a more straightforward process.

Additionally, Yelp has made it easier for iPhone users to RSVP to events; all events that you're RSVPing will appear under your profile so that you can see them all from one place very easily. Yelp notes that you are free to comment on these events, and that soon in a future update you can even received push notifications regarding your RSVPs. And speaking of user profiles, Yelp also adds that they've made viewing prior activity on a users' profile much more aesthetically pleasing.

Last, but not least, Yelp touts performance improvements especially with Bookmarks. Yelp notes that Bookmarks should now be much faster by fixing a bug that was causing Bookmarks to be very slow for many users.

Existing users of the Yelp application will find this update under the Updates tab in the App Store application; unless, of course, you have automatic updates enabled. In this case, the update will have been installed for you automatically. Both new and existing users have the option to download the latest version of Yelp for iOS for free from this App Store link.
