If you are a huge gamer, then you should probably head on over to IGN’s website and grab a promo code for EA’s ‘Mass Effect: Infiltrator’ game. IGN named it February’s Free Game of the Month, and it has a 4/5 rating with over thousands of reviews in the App Store. For those that don’t know, it typically costs $4.99 to get.

Below is a list of things you can expect when the game is downloaded:

    • Move freely through massive exteriors and a fully realized Cerberus base.
    • Experience groundbreaking graphics and intensified audio in a console-like experience that marks the next leap in iOS gameplay.
    • Use intuitive tap controls for fast-paced fighting. Fluidly dive and roll for cover with a simple swipe. Engage in epic boss battles against Cerberus Mechs and twisted experiment victims.
    • Harness the fury of high-tech armor and weapons. Unleash biotic powers, stealth cloak abilities and devastating melee attacks.
    • Upgrade your gear and performance with credits – the quicker and more stylish your kills, the more credits you’ll earn.

As with many games in the App Store, users will be able to make in-app purchases within the game. An interesting fact about ‘Mass Effect: Infiltrator’ is that the last time it was actually updated was almost a year ago. So what exactly does this mean? It means don’t expect it to have any iPhone 6 or 6 Plus resolutions or Metal support.

IGN has promo codes for consumers to claim, but do keep in mind that it is on a first come first serve basis. The codes have also been made available in 44 countries, so hurry up and head on over if you would like to try out the game for free. You will need iOS 5..1.1 or later to run the game and it is compatible on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
