In this post, we're going to show you five great free games and applications for iOS from the App Store to help keep you the loop of some neat free games and applications and hey; feel free to download them and give them a try!

If you missed our previous Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS, you can head over to this link to read our February 12th edition.

We are jumping the gun and posting this a couple of days early on the forums, although this post has been timed to be published on the Web site's main page on the projected date. Enjoy!

    1. King of Thieves

First on our list this week is a relatively new game called King of Thieves. In this game, you will plunder dungeons for gold and gems. You can play the 80 in-game levels, as well as player-made levels where players create and set their own traps. In other words, there's really no level limit in this game and the PvP action gives you enough play time to sit down for a few hours and enjoy yourself. You can build your own dungeon and harvest gems, all while trying to protect your stuff from other players by setting and upgrading your traps and locks. Check it out!

You can download King of Thieves for free from this App Store link.

    2. Urban Engines

This one will be handy for those of you that are city-dwellers; Urban Engines is an application that can give you public transit routes in your area. If you're trying to get from point A to point B via public transit, this application will show you the fastest way to get there in real time. Features include street name overlay mode, offline maps, support for a variety of larger cities, and more. Check it out!

You can download Urban Engines for free from this App Store link.

    3. Radical

Another game that will keep you on edge if you're bored is Radical. In this game, your objective is not to hit any of the walls as you are propelled forward. You will tap and hold on either the right or left side of the display to move in the direction of your finger as you try to make it through the little holes in the walls. Be careful though, as if you're just a little bit too late, you'll crash into the wall and it's game over! This game will test your hand-eye coordination and patience. Check it out!

You can download Radical for free from this App Store link.

    4. Currenci

Currenci is a really handy currency-conversion application for iOS that lets you see the values of different currencies in real time, as well as convert values from one currency to another. It even comes with a handy Notification Center widget, as we showed you in our recent post on iOS 8 Notification Center widgets. The application has an incredibly simple user interface where it's easy to add and remove currencies, and even search for more. Check it out!

You can download Currenci for free from this App Store link.

    5. Run Bird Run

Last on our list this week, until next time, is Run Bird Run. In this game, you play as the bird trying to avoid getting squashed by falling objects. You need to climb to where it's safe as the Tetris-like falling objects try to land on you. As you avoid the falling objects by tapping, you can collect candy for points. You can also unlock various kinds of birds to play as in the various types of levels. Check it out!

You can download Run Bird Run for free from this App Store link.

Stay tuned for next week's five great free apps and game for iOS!

King of Thieves 4/5 with latest update. Really fun concept. Would be an easy 5/5 except it pushes iAPs a little too hard for my tastes.

    Just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!
