    In Brand Keys’ 2015 Customer Loyalty Engagement Index, Apple products took the lead in the pack. On the list included Beats headphones, the iPhone, MacBook, and iPad. The study looks at a brand’s ability to meet and/or pass expectations from consumers and then rates it. This year’s survey featured 36,605 consumers in the U.S.

    The CLEI’s smartphone category was based on four factors: A Platform For All My Needs, Brand Reputation and Design, Brand Value and Customer Support, and Features and Personal Connectivity. These ‘behavioral drivers’ are what determines the results from all the different categories.

    According to the president of Brand Keys, Robert Passikoff,

    In a marketplace where brands struggle to create meaningful differentiation and engagement, those better able to identify customers' expectations and address them via authentic emotional values will see tangible bottom-line results.
    In the headphones category, the results came in this order: Beats, Bose, Sony, a tie between Parrot and JVC, and a tie between Panasonic, Rocketfish, and Audio-Technica. Apple’s classic headphones also made the top ten list in this category. As for smartphones, the results were as follows: Apple, Samsung, Lenovo, LG, and Sony.
