Pretty darn exciting, what great Christmas gift to us all. Anxiously awaiting a stable release.

Is it true that if you don't have a developer account you have to repeat most of the jailbreak procedure every week?

I have not heard this. Where did you read?

On an Italian site that is explaining step by step the jailbreak procedure. They say that with an apple developer account the jailbreak lasts one year but with a normal account you must repeat the procedure every week...

Yes, it's true. If you don't have a developer account, you have to sideload the JB app every 7 days just like any other sideloaded app.

Also, ijapija (sp?) released a Substrate launcher on Cydia, but it is strongly advised not to use it. Luca has deactivated it for a reason.

This jailbreak, like the one for 9.3.3 will likely always be semi-tethered. I believe untethered jailbreaks are a thing of the past. So don't wait forever. Semi tethered is very easy. And you'll never have to plug in your phone to reJailbreak.

Yes, that's the force launcher I mentioned earlier from ijapija. It is strongly advised not to use this method as it only increases the risk of having to restore.

Padg is on the money here. The only substrate we are interested in is the official one launched by Saurik.

And Preference Loader too. Once we have those two officially done. Then the fun can begin. Matchstic said that his Infostats2 should work out of the box in 10.

He also said XenHTML would work for Homescreen out of the box. Will be wonky for Lockscreen until he rewrites.

Xen he's trying to get done by Christmas Eve.

Buts it's all a wash without Cydia Substrate being stable. And Preference Loader being out.

My educated guess is that WidgetWeather3 should be fine in 10. But we'll see.

Interestingly enough, it seems that Winterboard is actually working on the 7+ using the yalu JB.

No surprise there. WB is a very light code footprint. But it also hasn't been updated forever. No update for 9.3.3 at all and 9.0.2 was just a bare functional update. Anemone is the future and I'm pretty sure Coolstar already did some pretesting of it a month or more back and claimed it would be ready to go.

There's a tweak to install cydia tweaks by installing a repo and adding a substrate tweak that allows you to install tweaks. I haven't tried the Jailbrake. Myself I'm willing to wait until more things get updated

That's pretty impressive. If you reboot it's a bit of a pain to get back to a JB state and tapping on the Substrate Fixer after each new tweak installed seems a little "hacker-ish" - but it still seems like a working jailbreak for those of us "daring". And I am! Lol.. But I tend to be more daring when I have a JB-able firmware to restore too. I want to see Cydia Eraser updated for 10.1.1 before I do this.. I think..

If you know what you do the Jailbreak is fine. I am happy with it. Jailbreak + Cydia Substrate Fix = Great

Happy with iPhone 7 and 10.1.1 Jailbreak.

I agree. I rather wait a bit and see how things go. Don't get me wrong i am tempted to jailbrake right now lol.

Lol. Yeah but how many tweaks have been updated to iOS 10. I'm sure not a lot. More of a reason to wait a bit
