I have an iPOd Classing 160GB that does not show up in the computer or in iTunes. It will charge, however. It is running on 2.0.4 PC and the computer I am using is WinXP on the latest version of iTunes.

Try a different computer and see what happens. It could be a bad USB port.

Backup and restore then. If that doesn't work then it has a hardware problem.

How do I go about doing that? I've never used a classic before lol. How do I put it in DFU/Recovery mode so iTunes can detect it?

I've read that actually. I guess it's a hardware issue. Thanks anyway
