Not to sound like a ****** or anything, but as far as I am aware; pretty much every iPod has got a diagnostic mode like this. My calculator has a diagnostic mode :/

Thanks for a simple answer without a lot of poor grammar and sarcasm, like the rest of these idiots. I appreciate the information. Like I said. I've never owned an iPod. Just didn't see how it would be possible.

It's so GREAT to see someone post something, who thinks they know it all. However their post doesn't even make sense. PLEASE read what you write before you post!!! It makes you look a LOT more intelligent than you try to appear.
You think there are a bunch of idiots here? Try going over to BGR and posting an apple question!

Anyhow on a more serious note you did ask a fairly simple question, where as unfortunate as it may be, invites a simple(and often times sarcastic) answer from the interwebs. Keep your online-expectations low if you don't want to appear as a disgruntled webizen. On the other hand if a detailed, thorough and professional reply is what your after you could always check apples website or take a few seconds and perform a google sense. Eitherway your response came across as a flame to some which is to be expected. The one thing you will find is that there are less idiots and trolls here by comparison to other popular tech sites. Just keep it civil.

Sounds cool. Now, Apple needs to build one for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Asking for help is different from being stupid. Fanboys can rot in @#$%!

Yes, there's a cable to connect you iPod touch, iPhone or iPad to the TV. I use it all the time to watch films. Don't are what use it would be on an iPod that can only play music, but maybe it's just for the audio.

    Now stop flaming!

yeah. with the exception of maybe a game of Simon, i'm with you. i don't see jailbreak really doing any good on an iPod nano. the fact that it doesn't even run iOS might also be an issue.

The fact it doesnt run iOS is hardly an issue, that could even make it easier to jb, there is so much you could do with it, theming, allow it to be used as a usb mass storage device... Um thats about it lol

wait, so the new nano lost video capability and its just pics?
    Got it in one
WTF does THAT mean? Does the new Nano have video playback abilities or what?! It's been asked several times now and this is the only "reply" anyone has received.

If old iPod Nano versions could playback video, I don't see them removing the functionality.
