Hey guys, I've been fixing iPhone and iPod touches for quite a while but I've recently only started to add iPod touch 4g's to the list.

I've done two repairs so far and they've been disasters!

I just CAN'T get the screen to sit in flush!

I heared something about bending the LCD cable over 3 times but it doesn't seem possible!

Any ideas/tips/advice for a smooth repair?

Well firstly I clean the previous adhesive off and replace new.

Then I kind of fold the LCD cable in half and and then sit the screen into place... I leave a small gap and the slide the screen up to clip it into place if you get me?

It just doesn't seem to sit in 100%...

and all my parts are OEM so it's not the units..

it just will NOT sit flush! it's always raised up top!

I've read you have to fold the flex cable 3 times but there's no way to do this as the small silver square on the cable pushes against the LCD when it's being put into place and distorts the screen.

If there's any guy here who can shed some light it's you Westerman, I'd appreciate any and all help!

This is the only iDevive that's truly got me..
