Hello, I have an iPod Video 60GB with a problem, I can only turn on the ipod if i press a button or with the Hold button on, if i stop press another button it turns off immediately.
I can connect to the computer normally but only if the Hold button is active, if is not active the ipod turns off too.

Anyone know the problem or means of fix?
    Please help me.

Ps: Sorry for my english, it's because I'm Portuguese

Have you tried restoring or anything yet? This could be a hardware or software problem. If restoring to a fresh version of iOS (don't use a backup or anything, just set it up as new) doesn't work, it's definitely a hardware failure. For now though, try restoring and setting it up as a new iPod.

Hi, yes i tried to restore the ipod and nothing, it's the same problem. i think this is a hardware problem, i changed the battery but made no difference also.
It's possible that the problem is in the motherboard?
Is there any way to find out where the problem is?
