    website and folder bs?
you mean where to download redsn0w from?

download tinyumbrella (google it) to back up your shsh blobs.

shsh blobs are like a save point, where tinyumbrella saves something to let you restore to that exact firmware in the future.

then download your ipsw that you are running, so 4.2.1 you can get that from

    http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

save it to your desktop, and while saving it make sure it ends in .ipsw not .zip it'll screw it up if it's .zip

then download redsn0w 0.9.6b7 (google it) and then start it up, point redsn0w to your 4.2.1 ipsw then click install cydia (nothing else unless you want) then this would be the difficult part. dfu mode always got me and I was never able to do it, cause I miss read a guide -_- but its really simple. redsn0w will have instructions on how to do it. after that it'll be done and then just launch cydia, let it reorganize then you've got a jailbroken itouch. i believe the only stable jb for 4.2.1 is tethered. that means you need to rerun the jb app each time the iPod turns off. when that happens, check the 'just boot tether now' and that'll work. YouTube vids are helpful on this stuff so if you get stuck give YouTube a go. good luck

There is. Search 'greenpois0n' on engadget.com. Click on the article that talks about 4.2.1 untheathered jailbreak. Scroll down and you'll see a link for a download mirror. Fallow the instructions that are very straight forward and you're home free.

I don't think jbme 3 will come out of for a while. I don't know much about it, but there's only ever been two browser based jb's since ios was launched, 1.0 and 4.0. (not too sure about 1.0 one though). so I think it's a very rare thing..
+ all devices out atm are jb for life with geohots limerain. why waste an exploit. that's my take on the matter
