There's tons of themes for this. You can just type in the Cydia search bar a few keywords, an example being blue battery, etc. etc.

I have already tried that and for some reason it still doesn't work, the only ones that work are the ones that change the battery color when the ipod is charging but i do not want to that. I just want to change the statusbar battery color from the normal green to a different color

What color exactly? I remember the name of an old package that I used to have that did it.

Got it. Found one on the MMi repo from iPM. It's meant for all devices, so just search it up and you'll find it. There's a few other ones too, so the author is Zak Tennyson (just so you know which one to get)

Alright. I did more searching and I can't find anything. There's a million themes for it, but most haven't been updated since iOS 3 or 4.

To change the colour you need to unpack the Shared.theme file, change the icon, then repack the file and ssh it back onto iPod. It is found in springboard.app

There is a tutorial on here for how to deal with theme files.
