I think my iPod may be broken slightly as the audio port doesn't work properly (left channel gets muted sometimes) and I'm thinking about sending it in for repairs. I have a jailbroken iPod Touch version 1.1.1 with various apps, etc.

I was just wondering if, when I send it in (I would probably revert the firmware back to un-jailbroken 1.1.1 anyway) I was just wondering if there is any way to 100% fully return it to the original un-broken way or if they will even check that.

I have the EXACT same problem. If I were you I would restore it to stock/jailed firmware. They WILL check. My friend took his in for something else and they saw it with third party apps and said no. It may be different for you but just in case, I would restore.

If you do take it back, let me know how it goes. I want to take mine back and see what they can do for it, just too busy for the next 3 weeks. If you could, PM me.

P.S. I actually have an iPhone, not an iTouch.
