Hi I was trying to restore my ipod touch 2G when an error came up. Exactly then, did a found new hardware thing come up, (I have already installed the hardware onto the computer so i don't know why that keeps on coming up) but my ipod was in DFU mode (recovery mode) so the computer could not install the software. Now when i go into the Device Manager there is a Yellow question mark on my ipod and i cannot install the driver onto the computer. Although i have found the hardware, when i try to update the driver or re install, it says it cannot find the software. iTunes has been re-installed so i do not know what the problem is!

    PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!

OK, no need to answer any more! I got it fixed! I went to the apple store and just restored it on one of their Macs, then using my home computer, i just synced it.
