Apple CEO Tim Cook and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met recently at the company’s headquarters located in Cupertino, CA. A short video clip was posted on the leader’s official YouTube page recently.

The video below was taken by a member of Netanyahu’s delegation where Cook was greeted by the leader and had a meeting over lunch at Apple HQ’s Executive Briefing Center. Bruce Sewell, Apple SVP of Legal and Government Affairs was also seen sitting next to Cook at the conference table.

Details of the meeting are unknown, however, Cook was heard mentioning “R&D skill” towards the end of the video. This suggests that the discussion at least touched upon Apple’s various operations in Isreal. The company currently has R&D sites in Ra’anana, Hafia, and Herzliya, the latter having been obtained after the purchase of Anobit , a flash memory firm. Apple also purchased PrimeSense, a company from Israel that makes middle-ware, sensors, and hardware for 3D scanning applications and motion sensing.

Cook and Netanyahu stood together and took some photos in front of a large poster that quotes and remembers Steve Jobs:

“If you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what's next.”
