As we are now only a few hours away from Apple’s big announcement, the Cupertino-based company has launched their very own Special Events channel on the Apple TV. For those who could not partake in the live event, this is another source for consumers to watch the upcoming event. The channel on the Apple TV provides not only a countdown to the big announcement, but consumers will also have the option to watch Apple keynotes from previous years.

In just one and a half hours, Apple is expected to announce the next generation iPhone in two sizes, dubbed the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The iWatch, the new iPad lineup, and the rumored mobile payment system are also expected to be announced at this event. For those who don’t have access to an Apple TV can also go to Apple’s website and stream the event. However, users will have to have OS X 10.6.8 or later and iOS 6 or later for the iPhone and iPad, and Safari 5.1.10 or later.

How excited are you for the event and will you be streaming it? Let us know in the comments below.
